Fiesta Americas

Launched in 2022, Fiesta Americas was created through a partnership between local organizations with deep connections to the Eagle County Latino community. The event is a collaboration among Mountain Recreation, My Future Pathways, Eagle County Government and the Town of Gypsum. With strong sponsor support and the involvement of more than 40 nonprofits, Fiesta Americas has quickly become a valued event for both residents and visitors.

Held during Hispanic Heritage Month, the event features food trucks, live music, and family-friendly activities for all ages. With an estimated attendance between 2,500 and 3,000 people, Fiesta Americas highlights the strong local interest in events celebrating Eagle County and neighboring communities’ cultural diversity.

GREATER EAGLE RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DIST

GEFPD runs from Wolcott to just west of Costco. Due to the straight-line border, it captures a part of the south-eastern portion of Buckhorn Valley. The southeastern corner of the District extends out to Fulford. One of the easiest ways for someone to see if they are a part of the District is for them to check their property tax bill and see if GEFPD is listed there.
